Ingredients:
1¼ pounds sirloin steak, cut into strips 567g 1 (14 ounce) can beef broth 396g 1 (16 ounce) package frozen chopped bell peppers and onions, thawed .5kg 2 tablespoons cornstarch 30ml Beef-flavored rice |
Instructions:
Sprinkle pepper over steak. In large skillet with a little oil, brown steak strips. Pour beef broth over steak and add bell pepper-onion mixture, ¾ cup water (180 ml) and 1 teaspoon (5 ml) salt. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. In small bowl, combine cornstarch and ½ cup water (120 ml) into skillet. Stir and cook over medium heat until mixture thickens. |
