Ingredients:
Ingredients for jar: ½ cup sugar 120ml 1¼ cups malted milk powder 300ml 2 cups flour 480ml ½ teaspoon baking powder 2ml ¾ cup miniature-chocolate chips 180ml
Instructions for Jar:
Pour sugar into 1-quart (1 L) jar and smooth over top. Spoon malted milk powder over sugar and even out. Press down lightly.
Spoon flour on top of milk powder. Press down lightly and even out. Pour baking powder and ¼ teaspoon (1 ml) salt over flour. Add chocolate chips on top of flour and press down firmly to fit into jar. Place lid on jar. |
Instructions:
¾ cup (1½ sticks) butter, softened 180ml 2 eggs
Preheat oven to 350º (176º C). Empty contents of jar into large bowl. Add butter and eggs. Beat on low speed or by hand until dough thoroughly mixes. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until edges are light brown. Remove from oven, cool cookies on cookie sheet for 1 minute and transfer to cooling rack. Makes 3 to 3½ dozen. |
