Ingredients:
1 cup flour 240ml
1 cup yellow cornmeal 240ml
¼ cup sugar 60ml
4 teaspoons baking powder 20ml
2 eggs
1 cup milk 240ml
¼ cup oil 60ml |
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375º (190º C). Mix all ingredients with ½ teaspoon (2 ml) salt. Blend well. Pour in sprayed 9 x 13 x 2-inch (23 x 33 x 5 cm) baking pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until light brown.
The highest point in Texas is Guadalupe Peak at 8,749 feet above sea level. Its twin peak is El Capitan at 8,085 feet above sea level. They are in Guadalupe Mountains National Park in the western-most part of Texas.
